Your options for selling furniture in Dubai
Most people in the UAE choose between three routes. Each one trades money against time and effort.
Used furniture buyers
Dealers will come and take everything in one visit, which is useful on moving week. The catch is price: they need to resell at a profit, so their offer is likely to be well below what a private buyer would pay.
Classifieds and community groups
You set your own price and reach a lot of people. You also handle every message, arrange viewings with strangers, agree payment, and the buyer has to find their own van and people to carry it. Sales can fall through on the transport question alone.
A marketplace with delivery built in
On Loop you set your price, the buyer pays in the app, and Loop collects the item from your home and takes it into the buyer's home. You never meet the buyer, never take cash, and never book a van. The rest of this guide explains how to get the most from it.

Asking prices of live listings on Loop on 1 October 2026. "Typical" is the middle asking price; half of all listings sit inside the "middle half" range. These are asking prices, not final sale prices, and some categories have only a handful of listings.
A few rules of thumb hold for most furniture:
- Brand and material matter more than age. A solid wood table from a known brand holds its value far better than flat-pack, even if it is older.
- Price for a quick sale if you have a moving date. A fair price that sells this week beats a high one that is still listed when the movers arrive.
- Bundle small pieces. Side tables, lamps and cushions often sell sooner as a set than one by one.

Furniture buyers want to know two things before anything else: will it fit, and is it in the condition you say. Answer both in the listing and you save a dozen messages.
- Shoot in daylight. Open the curtains, turn off yellow ceiling lights, and clear the clutter around the piece.
- Show the whole item, then the details. One straight-on photo, one from an angle, then close-ups of the fabric, legs, drawers and any marks. You can add up to 10 photos.
- Give width, depth and height in centimetres. For sofas and beds add the seat height or mattress size too.
- Be honest about wear. A photo of a small scratch builds trust. A scratch the buyer finds on delivery day starts a dispute.
- Say whether it comes apart. Beds, wardrobes and corner sofas that dismantle are far easier to move into apartments and villas.
How selling furniture on Loop works
- List it in a few minutes. Add your photos, price, condition and the item's size. The size tells Loop what vehicle to send, from a car boot for a lamp up to a van for a bed.
- The buyer pays in the app. Their payment is held by Loop with Buyer Protection. Nothing is released to anyone yet.
- You agree a delivery day. For larger furniture, you and the buyer each pick the days you can be home, and the first day that suits you both becomes the delivery day. Loop confirms the time with you.
- Helpers collect it from your home. They carry the item out, take it to the buyer, and take it into their home.
- You get paid. The buyer has 24 hours after delivery to check the item. Then the money goes to your UAE bank account. You keep 100% of your asking price.
Leaving the UAE? Sell in the right order
If you are moving out, give yourself a few weeks and work through the house in this order:
- List the big pieces first. Sofas, beds, wardrobes and dining tables take the longest to sell and need a delivery day agreed.
- Keep what you need until the end. You can sell your bed now and set a delivery day close to your move.
- Lower prices in steps. If something has not sold after a week, drop the price rather than waiting.
- Finish with small items. Decor, kitchen kit and lamps are quick to list and quick to collect.
